This is my timeline.
On Thursday, 1974 I began my career. On Monday, I listed my first house. On Friday, I sold it – my first sale with 2 offers! Both Buyers and Sellers and their children remain clients and friends to this day.
Real Estate is not just a job for me. It is what I do. It is my life and I love it!
This year I celebrate 48 years helping clients navigate their way through their Real Estate landscape, a Top Award Winner consistently for every one of those years.
When Julie graduated from University of Western Ontario in 1991, she and I became partners. Julie is known for her excellence is all she does. Together, we were a Team working successfully and happily.
Katie joined us in 2002 following her own career as a Financial Planner. Her knowledge and skills in this aspect of the business has proven invaluable. Katie is energetic and determined in her pursuit of excellence.
Jessica Lee, our Client Care Specialist and our ever-efficient Office Manager is there for us and each of you. No detail is overlooked. Jessica brings to the Team her knowledge of the industry and her wonderful drive to close each file knowing that every box has been checked. That completes our Team.

I love my work! When people ask me what I am going to do when I retire, I answer – “Retire? Why?” The people whom Hugh and I have met through real estate have made our life more interesting. I have the joy and reward of working with my daughters, Julie and Katie, and the wonderful Jessica.
My Community Service throughout the years includes Arts and Education Chairman for the Junior League of Toronto, a member of the Board and the Board of Trustees of Havergal College, a past Co Chair of the Wellspring Westerkirk Campaign. I found working with Hugh for Camp Oochigeas, Camp Scugog and now RAMP (Residents Against Poverty in Muskoka) to be very rewarding.
In my spare time, we laugh, we ski, we golf, we cook, we watch the news and Netflix, and swim with the dolphins in Naples.
We acknowledge the gift of each new day, good health and the joy of family and friends.

As a child growing up, my sister and I would often play “Real Estate”. So it seemed only natural that upon graduating from University of Western Ontario in 1991, I decided to join Janice, my mother, at Chestnut Park Real Estate. At first it was to work behind the scenes to provide support with day-to-day tasks and to ensure the needs of our clients were attended to.
That soon morphed into a close partnership working together with our clients. In 2002, with Katie, my sister, joining us we became The Rennie Team, Chestnut Park’s #1 Team for over 16 years!
I grew up in central Toronto, Lytton Park and Lawrence Park, and attended Havergal College for 12 years. Once married, I moved to downtown Historic Oakville, where I have lived for the past 25 years with my husband and three children. Over that time, we have had the pleasure and excitement of restoring three historic homes as our family needs grew.
I feel fortunate to have lived and worked in both Toronto and Oakville. This has allowed me to develop an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the varied neighbourhoods and their respective real estate markets. But more importantly, I have had the privilege of working closely with so many Buyers and Sellers, who are not just clients, instead rather good friends.
I pride myself on being a listener, rather than a talker. I hear what you need. I would rather a client pass on a purchase, if it doesn’t tick all their boxes. I strive to find the “perfect fit”. For some, that happens quickly, others a longer time. I have patience and perseverance.
I am very detailed and task driven. When you are a Seller, I make sure no fine detail is overlooked and I work to showcase your home in the perfect light. I make sure no potential Buyer is missed – reaching out directly to Buying Agents, following up with each showing and reporting back to you the Seller. Once again, I strive to find the “perfect fit”.
Outside of real estate, I am all about travel and adventure, whether that be with my family or friends. I love to bike, hike, ski and play tennis. But a quiet corner with a good book, is also high on my “fav” list. In my community, I am the past President of Muskoka Lakes Golf & Country Club, past Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital Gala Committee member and helped plan St. Mildred’s 125th Anniversary Celebration. I am currently involved in the Oakville Hospital Foundation’s new event – “Oakville’s Own” and sit on the Membership Committee of Osler Bluff Ski Club.

I joined the Team over almost twenty years ago and LOVE helping our clients find their perfect home.
I have lived in North Toronto my entire life, currently in Wanless Park. Raising my family in the core of Toronto has given me insight and appreciation of this great city and firsthand knowledge of schools, programs and activities. I rely on these experiences when working to understand and fulfill clients’ real estate desires and needs.
Further, my husband and I have extensively renovated our homes, so I see the potential and possible challenges in properties, which helps clients evaluate prospective homes, condos or projects.
Prior to joining Chestnut Park, I worked as a Certified Financial Planner at boutique firms looking after the entire financial well being of our clients, so I add a comprehensive financial insight to my evaluation of our clients’ real estate needs. I believe this depth personal experience results in happy and smooth real estate transactions!
When not working, I am involved in the kids’ schools and sports, currently volunteering in the shop at Crescent and on the Aquatics Committee at the Granite Club. I have also been involved in a number of fundraising efforts including at Sterling Hall, and Wellspring both for their Hoedown and as honorary co-chair of the expansion for the Westerkirk House at Sunnybrook. I love getting outdoors be it skiing, hiking or mountain biking, but if it’s rainy, you’ll find me curled up with a great book, or trying new recipes.

I have been selling real estate for over 14 years and am a Broker, Masters Certified Negotiation Expert and Christie’s International Real Estate Luxury Specialist. I have worked with The Rennie Team for the past several years as their Client Care Specialist and Office Manager.
Prior to joining the world of real estate, I’ve acquired administrative and managerial expertise through sales and marketing, property management and strategic planning with over 10 years of working in the new construction industry.
As I have lived in different parts of Toronto and York Region (including Markham, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, King City, Newmarket and now East Gwillimbury), I am very familiar with these areas and have sold in the various parts of the Cities and Towns.
I think of the community as a place to grow and to care for. Therefore, I have honed my knowledge about each neighbourhood while being a part of the community as a resident. For Buyers, I am able to inspire them to realize the potential of the place which they are calling “home”.

We are so focused with work sometimes we forget to enjoy life as it is. We love to cook and often create massive dinners for our families to enjoy, whether it’s a special occasion or a last minute “come join us for dinner tonight”. Hopefully when the kids are a little older, we can enjoy more traveling to explore and most importantly, creating those memories!
